I regulary stay over night at the Days Inn in Abington.
The staff are really welcoming and friendly and look after you.
I suffer from several health problems and on one occasion whilst staying here I was really ill (nothing to do with the hotel or restaurant). The staff looked after me and made sure I made it home safe and well.
10/10 from me :)

I always stop here for petrol to and from my girlfriend's in Stirling. It's one of the cheapest service stations for petrol on the M6/M74 route and the staff in the petrol station are always friendly.
Stopped on my bike and in my car and it's always friendly no matter what. The views are nice too.

We have just returned from holidaying in the Highlands for 10 days and on the doormat was a fine from the parking eye for £90.00!!!!
But we paid the £17.00 fee on the Saturday night @ 23.30hrs, the girl who we paid the money to in cash commented that we had a boat on the top of our car she could see our car on the camera as soon as she typed in the registration,
We have rung the services & are waiting for a call back!!!
Needless to say we are not happy and will not be staying there again! We have stayed at many different services overnight and always paid but this is the first time we have received a fine for non payment as well!!!

Very disappointing place.Usual expensive food that looks nothing like the photos its also very poor quality and cold. The building is cold and unwelcoming. Will avoid if possible.

Dispute with ParkingEye - arrived and left in the pitch black, wind and rain. Some lights were out in the parking area. Saw no signs about parking fees. Head down covered ran in to use the toilet facilities and straight out. ParkingEye not helpful and refuse to discuss or reply to appeals. Be careful, you can only pay evidently on site within shops and the forecourt. So if you don't use them you won't see anywhere to pay. ParkingEye are underhand when it comes to their correspondence with you - they send out notices to reach you AFTER their deadline dates. Be Warned!

Sat in the restaurant for dinner. Looked good until my daughter said "There's a fly on your plate!" Yes there was indeed a cooked fly/bluebottle in my peas. Was sick, will never eat there again!

been using abington for a few years and it is once of the better ones, food is pretty okay, toilets are clean. The parking is a bit tight and the caravan bays are not all drive through, thankfully the truckies dont seem to mind us using the lorry park where the bays are drive through

I stop there frequently as an hgv driver. I like the space you get in the shower and the overall fiendly staff (except Wednesday night). The lorry park seems to be quite secure too.

I really like these services, so much so that a friend and I sometimes drive here just to get a burger and sit around for a couple of hours talking. The coffee machine in WHSmith is of a high standard, though doesn't give lids for espresso cups which could prove to be hazardous you plan on drinking it on the move. The shop itself is massively overpriced, though that is a given with motorway service shops. The staff throughout is friendly and the seating is plentiful.

Nice little place with good views. I even proposed to my wife there :)

Red Hen restaurant now shut and replaced by a coffee shop. Last visit back in Nov 05 was just an empty locked area. I think it is the same operator as runs the cafeteria part
