About the Motorway Services website
Like them or loathe them, most of us end up using motorway service areas at one time or another. This site aims to catalogue and review all UK service areas, allowing you to be better informed as to which you use in future!
This site is designed and constructed by Good Stuff IT Services, with contributions from various other individuals.
Although fully functional in its own right, this site also acts as a showcase for a design which, as far as possible, uses CSS rather than tables for layout. The site uses HTML4.01 Transitional and CSS1, and is intended to be fully accessible under the "Bobby" accessibility guidelines. There are some issues with this, mainly with integrating external data such as adverts and RSS feed content into the site without breaking anything, but overall this has been a useful learning experience!
The content of this site is primarily contributed by you, the readers, so if you have any comments on any service areas that you've used recently, then please feel free to let us know!
