Very expensive to park HGV overnight (£25 without meal voucher and no option of a meal voucher), there are many many food outlets on site and even a small laundromat located outside (2 washers and a dryer -£8 for big wash £6 for small £1 for dryer - but don't know how long that gives you time wise). Parking was ok when I was there and so was access in and out - wasn't at a peak time though. Toilets were clean enough. Having said all that I won't ever stop at an Extra services again, as paying over £30 to park and eat is far too much.

McDonalds was great. I was served within a minute and received my meals in even less time. However, I did spend more than half an hour trying to get into the carpark and then over an hour trying to leave it, in total grid lock trying to get out of the services. This was in 27 degree heat which was dangerous enough in itself. We don't plan on paying any parking fines because the only reason we went over the 2 hour limit was because of the horrendous car park layout.

This is the fourth time we have tried to stop at your services with our caravan! Spaces for caravans are so limited and the bay's are not long enough. On all occasions we have been unable to stop and ended up taking half an hour today to get out of the car park due to gridlock. There seems to be ample parking for lorries and coaches, does Cobham have something against drivers with caravans?

Why are the hand driers so low in the toilets? Must be great for children but very annoying for anyone over 1.5m in height!

Access and departure from the services area is really badly designed resulting in gridlock. When I slipped off the M25 it took me about 1 hour to get into the car park. Leaving was even worse. It took me about 2 hours to leave the car park. This was my first visit to Cobham Services and I will never ever return. I will use Clackett Lane from now on. What I find shocking is that this is a newly built service area. I can forgive the older service areas that were built in the 1950's - 1960's when the motorways were originally built because the people designing them had no previous experience and were going through a learning curve and they could not imagine how the number of vehicles on our roads would increase so dramatically. The architects and planners who designed this service station have no excuse.

The car parking situation today was diabolical. We have just waited half an hour in a queue to get out. The car park is clearly appallingly designed and depending on where you park it is impossible to get out. Something needs to be done to improve this. Was my first timeVisiting and will not be stopping here again.

I have no information about a charging point for electric cars. Can you please (a) confirm whether there are any; (b) say where they are to be found upon arrival; and (c) if it/they are working and in service?Any information on this would be appreciated.
