Media Enquiries
This site gets a fair number of media enquiries about the information contained here, so here's a brief guide to what you can and can't do with it!
Visitor Comments
You don't need to ask for permission to republish selected extracts of visitor comments, provided that you acknowledge the source with an appropriate credit:
- Print media: Comments must be attributed to "MotorwayServices.Info", ideally using that capitalisation.
- Internet: Comments must be attributed to "MotorwayServices.Info", ideally using that capitalisation. The hyperlink back to this site is compulsory if material from this site is re-used elsewhere on the Internet.
- Broadcast media: Comments must be attributed to "motorway services dot into", spoken in full at least once in the course of the item using the material.
It would be nice if you could let us know if you're planning to use material from this site in a media story or broadcast programme, but it isn't essential.
Images
Selected images may be republished on the web provided that the source is attributed to "MotorwayServices.Info. A hyperlink back to this site is compulsory if material from this site is re-used elsewhere on the Internet. The link must apear on the same page as the image. If images are used on multiple pages then each page must include the attribution and link.
Technical Note: If you are re-publishing an image from motorwayservices.info on your own website, then you must take a copy of the image and upload it to your own server. You must not "hot link" to images residing on the motorwayservices.info server.
Images may not be reproduced in any other media (including print and broadcast media) without explicit permission. Print-quality versions of some images published on this site are available for commercial republication at usual freelance rates - please contact us for more information.

Costs start at free for projects that will be mutually beneficial (e.g., where data will be shared and/or we will get a corresponding benefit in terms of publicity) up to normal commercial rates for advertising and/or staff time where you want exclusive use of any data generated from the project and there's no corresponding benefit to us.
