Some of the best gents toilets on the motorways! modern and very clean!

Visit this services every day on my way to work. Very friendly with the costa staff, and always have a great chat in the mornings. Although recently I have noticed that my coffee never seems to be served with a smile anymore. Perhaps something to do with 2 of the young girls who used to serve me are no longer working there. I cant remember their names, they looked alike though. What a shame. Agree with a comment below, I have more jelly babies and wine gums than I need!

Best Costa for miles around, always pleasant, coffee always great. Much better than Cobham a bit further up that's for sure! And I can spend all day on the WI-FI!

Use this service station a lot on my way to and from London, it may be old and the outside aint much to go by but don't let that fool you, the inside is clean, the gents toilets are spotless, and I very rarely have reason to moan, just wish they had a restaurant sometimes but the coffee from Costa is amazing, especially when a certain girl makes it but I can't remember her name! I always seem to end up with a bag of Jelly Babies recently though!

Stopped here twice on the way to the open last weekend, on both occasions they were extremely busy however I got served quickly both times. looks like the gents toilets have just been decorated, unlike the ladies my wife says. what impressed me the most is the staff in costa even knew how much a bottle of water was at the open so were promoting the fact theirs was cheaper! genuis!

We stopped off here just before lunch time on a weekend. It may not be the busiest on the motorways but the Burger King staff were efficient and it was clean. The lady in the shop wished me a good day and even the toilets were well kept and tidy. Lovely little services, will definately visit again.

How can they justify 84.9 per litre of LPG when I normally pay 64.9 at my local Sainsbury. I accept that motorway service stations normally charge a bit more than local garages but 30.8% is pure extortion. I will be writing to BP to complain as I am a shareholder and am totally disgusted by this type of pricing.
By the way I had just come back from France where LPG is even cheaper.

I had the misfortune to stop here for breakfast yesterday - breakfast as I know it was not available at the poor range of outlets - W H Smith and Costa Coffee.Avoid if you can

I know that Moto have an appeals process for anyone who feels they shouldn't have received a parking notice. If you or someone you know has been a customer or have been caught whilst using the slip road and a parking notice has been issued, log onto the moto web site and get in touch with them. They also have a duty manager available on site who can help you.

Do not come off M2 at farthing corner if you are going to visit friends in Meirsborough Road if you are over 2 hours visiting friends even if you have not even entered their Car Park the cameras are just off the slip road and when you get back on the M2 they catch you again and charge you for visiting people. I have just received a fine for £50 I am not alone has anyone else experienced this I know of a least 4 people who have had parking charge notices even the Police who work from the site.

Avoid this service station if you possibly can. It is a very depressing experience. The buildings are tatty and feel as if they were left behind in the 60s. The staff were uninterested at best, surly at worst. I was assured my croissant was fresh. It was not. Must have been left over from the previous day. A totally dispiriting experience.

We stopped at Medway travelling from London to Canterbury.
Had a burger from a clean Burger King outlet, the food was freshly cooked and hot though overpriced and the staff were efficient and friendly.
What struck us though was how deserted and run-down Medway Services are. The place has the air of a ghost town.
Sue, 7 August 2010
As an HGV driver, these facilities are shocking, the toilets stink, the shower is like a sauna room, no ventilation, the water is so hot it nearly scalds, the wet room itself remains wet as the drainage is no where big enough for the water coming out and the floor is not angled right, the water flows towards the door and anything you have on the floor. Over night parking is extortinate especially as there is nowhere to eat with your meal voucher as burger king do not accept the voucher, so all there is left is Costa, or WHSmiths.
when complaining to the staff about facilities as I have done on numerous occassions, nothing gets done, they just pass the buck.
Not Impressed, yet another MOTO service station that does not care...

Southbound side. The young man cleaning the outside areas was working VERY diligently and doing a super job. He deserves a bonus!!
Leo Boon, 7 June 2010
I stopped at these services for coffee and croissants whilst travelling away from London at 08:30 Wednesday, 2nd June and was extremely impressed by the young man cleaning the outside areas, doorways, steps, car park, and emptying the bins. He was diligent, doing a super job and deserves a plaudit.

Medway services are not the place to stop if you are wanting a proper hot meal, as the services no longer have a restaurant. If however you live on coffee, snacks and burgers it is the place for you.
I find it hilarious that Moto can sell overnight parking with a meal voucher, but not have any facilities on site.

Actually, it was land adjacent to the Moto that had the problem with rats but the owners have now resolved the problem and the rats have gone.
Heather Eilbeck, 8 April 2010
Most disgusting place I seen. Rats everywhere. Disgusting toilets. Never stopping there again
Greg Thomas, 17 February 2010
I thought that I had gone back in time. The furniture and decor look like a 60s cafe. The outside f the building looks as though it has not been maintained for at least 10 years. Peeling paint, rotting wood, dirty and that is what you can see! Toilets were filthy.
George, 4 August 2009
For the only services on the M2, it's not bad. Clean, not overcrowded like others and a it's actually quite pleasant to watch the cars go by under the bridge whilst enjoying a drink. Unfortunately, like many other Moto services, it's been almost fully commercialized, so your subjected to Costa or WH Smith prices/selections if you just want a quick snack.
Alex, 27 June 2009
really hygenic, friendly and cooperative staff, always stock and a nice view of the cars underneath you as you eat your bk lol.
Carine, 25 April 2008
Nice cup of coffee and very friendly for early in the morning. Shame the Baby Food warming station was closed - key was held by a unit not open overnight
Ruth Salter, 18 February 2008
Clean but looks a bit dated on the London bound side. Car park signs are poor, never seen this place busy.
Martyn, 11 October 2006
Nice to sit and eat while watching the traffic go underneath. Clean toilets.
Malcolm Coghill, 20 September 2006
Clean (but cramped) loos and well stocked shop, but appalling lack of signage for car park and exit.
Alan Basham, 27 June 2006
A nice place, clean toilets but just junk food
