Utterly disgraceful. Westbound at 6:40 on a Sarurday morning in October 2016, at least two years after previous similar comments. Four cubicles, of which two locked, one without toilet paper and the final one with an empty can on the floor. Taps broken. What an introduction to GB from anyone travelling from Southampton or Portsmouth ferry terminals. Roadchef should be ashamed of themselves.

Filthy and dilapidated gents' toilets with broken locks - eastbound side 1600 hrs 10 Feb 2014. The stench welcomes visitors to the services building - must be really appreciated by foreign visitors who have just come off a ferry or cruise ship - welcome to the UK...Presumably Costa Coffee (Whitbreads) and WH Smith are quite content to pay their high rents for such services.Wish I had stopped on M3/A34 instead.Worst toilets I've seen in services in last 20 years.Time for another company to have a go instead of Roadchef?Helpful advert above offers luxury portaloos for hire - a cunning marketing manager obviously at work!

Road chef must be on hard times,as as of 5/2/14 the parking for trucks is a ludicrous Â£29!What you get is for that is a tenner off a very average overpriced mealIf you have the luck to beat the other drivers to shower you'll find it luke warm and mouldy.Two or three of the toilets have been locked from the inside for at least two year,obviously no money to repair them. The light are turned off on the truck parking area making it dangerous and insecure.. All in a very depressing experience, not that much better than a layby

Hotel - Pretty basic. Convenient location
Room cleaning - Not very good. Overall I have been disatisfied. Bins not emptied, bed side tables were dusty. Staff - Reception staff in particular Debbie is very friendly and helpful. Food - Road Chef - Food was horrible, not edible. Equal Opps - No lift for those with luggage, the elderly or disabled. Facilities - No water available in the hotel, no extras (Shower gel, shampoo, shower cap) no iron.

Beware - FUEL/CASH SCAMMING FEMALE! At approximately 17.40 on 15/10/14 i stopped at the south bound services and parked in one of the parking bays to take some calls and check emails. It was raining and nearing the end of a busy day and a long drive. A silver VW Sharran type people carrier (YR11 WDU) reversed up so it was next to the drivers side of my car. I heard the female driver of the car who was, i estimate in her late 30's with medium length brown/blonde hair and wearing light grey jogging bottoms and top pleading for help and she looked clearly distressed. I lowered my window and she said in a convincing panicky voice that she had just rushed her mother to hospital and and needed to get back to Weymouth urgently and had almost ran out of fuel. She said she had young children with her (which she had from circa 1 year old to 5/6 year olds) in the car and was desperate to get back to see her husband. She said that she or the kids had lost her purse and she had no money for fuel so could i give her Ã‚Â£40... I was asked for my business card as well so they could get in touch and return the money. The woman was very convincing and had clearly caught me on a day when my guard was down playing on my good will. I handed her the cash before i had a chance to say i will go with you to the filling station. She said "god bless god bless and thank you" a couple of times as she roared off straight past the BP filling station, onto the motorway and she was gone.The second she drove off i came to my senses and i knew i had been scammed at which point i managed to get the registration and car colour and type. I reported the scam to the police. I feel a fool as you can imagine but i am very disappointed that a woman with children in the car would stoop so low - clean scum rather than just scam. So if you are in the area and intending using the service station then be on your guard!!

We stopped here at 8.45 on the 23rd August on our way to the West Country for a weeks holiday, it wasn't exactly busy. We ordered 2 breakfasts for Ã‚Â£12 and waited and waited out tea was long drunk before our breakfast put in an appearance! At least 2 people who ordered before us demanded their money back and went next door to McDonalds!! We waited over half an hour for our sub standard breakfast to arrive. Had we not been waiting for other family members to meet us there we too would have demanded our money back and carried on with our journey.Avoid this dirty tasteless service station it needs updating, more staff and cleaning!!

Family of 4 waited over 30 mins for breakfast, even tho place was nearly empty, very very small portions, a desert spoon of baked beans, 1 small rasher bacon, 1 small sausage and a runny egg 2 for 12 quid, the 7.99 breakfast included black pudding, very expensive and long wait - very disappointing !!

Asked for 2 kids meals at a quiet dinner time and it takes them over 30mins to cook sausage and chips and beans. It's now past their bedtime my kids are being very patient but the roadchef lot are being ****ing useless. Is there actually a trained chef doing the cooking or what?!

My wife and I unfortunately had to stop at the Eastbound side for a break on our way back from the west country. We were disgusted by the filthy state of this place. Have you ever thought of cleaning it on more than a weekly basis?Better still, it should either be bulldozed and rebuilt for management by a company other than Roadchef which should in future concentrate on managing sewers. Your management would probably feel more at home there. What a disgrace!

The whole area looked neglected. The cafe was appealing,dirty tables, not enough staff and the food was very poor.it is the worst service station I have ever been into.the whole place needs a good clean, including the loos and more staff on duty

Was forced to sot here over night last services on m27 . This place is dirty, with tables and not cleaned properly , tiolets are dirty with rude staff who couldn't careless , tills we're broken when asked for receipt ... My advice is only stop here if your desperate !

I stopped here on Monday 21st July 2014. The ladies toilets were absolutely disgusting and had obviously not been cleaned for months, if not years. I would certainly never buy any food from these premises, as I can't imagine that the staff toilets are any better and I really wouldn't want to eat anything prepared by them....... yuk!

Scam parking alert. I visited recently, after having my car serviced, to fill up with fuel. I inadvertantly forgot my fuel card! I had to fill in failure to pay documentation at the BP paydesk and left within the alloted 2 hour free parking time. I returned about 2 hours later and payed via my fuel card. CP Plus issued a Parking charge notice stating I had breached 2 hours free parking when I actually had entered, exited, entered and exited again within a 3 hour time period! The images they have of my car are entering the first time and exiting the last time!!! Clever buggers! However I will not pay any fine as I have clearly done nothing wrong! Send as many intimidating letters as you like CP Plus but yoiu can whistle if your getting any of my money. AVOID these services.

I've been using these services for about the last twenty years .Enjoying the selection of gourmet food in the spotless restaurant ,the sweet aroma from the bathrooms,browsing the bargains and making the most of the cheap fuel.However on the 23rd of august i had to do a night shift at Heathrow airport.At around three o'clock in the morning i thought id stop off at Rownhams and to my joy the car park was empty.Unable to keep my eyes open any longer i found a quiet corner and slept.At 5.45 i awoke to the sweet sound of the Kango invested another six pounds into a coffee and a muffin and went on my way.My family and i are now living in fear as for the last four months i've been receiving threatening letters from their bailiffs.They now want Ã‚Â£120 for the three quarters of an hour i had the nerve to overstay.I run three vans on the Dorset to London corridor spending around Ã‚Â£20,000 in Rounhams every year.I now donate it to the little garage in Ferndown.Only Ã‚Â£1.25 a litre by the way.

Travelling from Surrey to Dorset, once a fortnight, stop at Rownhams for a break, the entrance is not well lite, and the lights along the road leading to the entrance of the car park are not on, neither are the ones in the car park, I would not want to stop there if I was traveling on my own at night as I would not feel safe.There is nearly always a foul smell from the gents toilets, which you can smell before you even get anywhere near, the ladies sometimes has a smell and last night most of them where taped off. My husband said there were flies in the gents toilets last night.Although Costa was open, it appeared to be shut, as the chairs were turned up on the tables, the staff at Costa are friendly and helpful, and it is a pleasure to stop there for a coffee and something to eat, if you can sit somewhere not near the gents because of the smell.

This is the most unkempt, dirty, smelly and poorly maintained services ever. The ladies toilet is onlyto be used in absolute desperation and it is a hover job. These folks have no idea what a loo brushIs. When you first drive on to the car park it feels as if you're taking part in the Paris to Dakar rally and question if you should maybe invest in a 4x4 or even a tracked vehicle. On the East bound carriageway you almost need a course in mountaineering to get up the oddly spaced steps to the entrance. There are only two nice things to say about these services, firstly, a nice elderly black gentleman with a very warm and friendly welcome, give this man a medal and pay rise and secondly the M27 is a welcoming bypass ! I have been travelling along this road, on and off for around 15-20 years and still Rownham fails to impress on every trip. To think that the people that serve food in this place use the same toilets is scary.

I swear that some of the potholes were so deep you could lose and axle and god knows what it could do to balancing and tracking (Perhaps a business opp Roadchef, instal an onsite Halfords centre to put people's cars back together?)

We stopped for a mid-journey break en route from Oxford to Charmouth on 17 July 2013. Towing a caravan, we followed the 'lorry & caravan' sign but were unable to find dedicated bays for caravanners, so parked adjacent to a couple of lorries. No problems from our viewpoint or from the pleasant lorry drivers except that we were unable to keep the outfit in sight while in the services. We used Mcdonalds my wife had a double cheeseburger, chips and a tea. I had a quarter pounder meal including Pepsi. The following morning my wife awoke at around 6 am feeling a bit sickly and dizzy - the caravan was appearing to go round and round and she was feeling clammy. Later we had a cup of tea, and soon after that she vomited violently after which her stomach settled down. We have to consider this to have been mild food poisoning from the cheeseburger. This has put her off Mcdonalds for life, a pity for she sometimes has a McD while locally shopping.I did not use the toilets so cannot comment on that visit. However, we also stopped on the way back and the Northbound side of Rownhams does not have a dedicated area for caravans either. This time we had prepared sandwiches, but this time I used the gents toilets. The smell was so bad I was heaving and almost physically sick.For services on such a major route I find this completely unacceptable and the whole facility at Rownhams needs, to put it mildly, a kick up the backside.

We visited Southbound Rownhams, decided to have breakfast. What a rip-off!!!!! Never again. One very thin slice of bacon,one sausage(revolting)one hash brown (cold) and one droppped on the plate fried egg. Then to add insult to injury we were asked to pay one pound extra for bread. We asked for fried bread and got toast, the guy serving didn't hardly speak and was totally dis-interested. At least a 600pc mark up on this food. I just hope Trading Standards will look at this awful excuse for food. I repeat never again.!!!!!!

Gents toilets unpleasantly smelly, one toilet blocked, toilets and sinks grubby.Outside area littered with discarded cups, paper bags and cigarette ends; one litter bin full to overflowing. Altogether not a good experience.

22.04.2013. STOPPED JUST AS IT WAS GETTING DARK, GOING TOWARD LONDON. The service from the girl in the costa coffee area was excellent. VERY POLITE , HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. There was a smell coming from the men's toilets which wasn't so pleasant.

Gone down hill rapidily, just like the lorries in the ungritted car parks. I visited yesterday only to be held in a queue for an hr, due to lorry being unable to turn the snow ridden corner to the car park. Eventually I entered the car park, again not gritted, slide my way to the enterance, on entering the building the unconcerned staff were all staring out of the mcdonalds window at the poor lorries sliding back down the car park.... For gods sake roadchef get you staff up off their buts and outside gritting. no one seemed to be in charge, only a bosy dark haired lady who commented that its snowing what do you expect. SHOCKING

After a long journey from Manchester to Bournemouth we stopped off here to get a coffee & stretch the legs, we went to Costa the prices was a bit expensive but what do you expect from a services. Well there was one young man who worked there I think his name was Jordan or maybe George I don't know but he was they only redheaded one, he had great customer service experience, he was very polite and made perfect Latte, 5* performance. Dont get me wrong the people who worked there was great but he stood out from the rest.

I stopped off at the service station about two weeks ago. I had a fry-up in Roadchef. It tasted pretty terrible and was vastly overpriced for such a meal, but such is the way with service stations. At least they were upfront with their rip-off prices.
What I couldn't stomach was the food; in the early hours of the following morning I vomited six times in two separate sittings. I had food poisoning.
Avoid this place. If you have to eat here, get a sausage roll cooked beyond recognition from WHSmith.

Was forced to stop on the Westbound site owing to legal requirements for taking a break. My view of this place has not changed since the last visit and if anything things are now worse. However, if what I have been informed of by a staff member is correct it is nothing short of a scandal.
I have been told that Roadchef are concentrating its efforts on Parking Enforcement at the site as this is percieved as a money spinner. My understanding that the Car Parks at MSA were not the direct responsibility of the Service operator but it begs the question are they involved in someway and if so just how much of a cut are they getting? I daresay many of us that use the motorway network have suspected something like this for sometime now.
Judging by the lack of standards in the food, toilets & communal areas it might make people wonder. Any Operational Directors at Roadchef care to comment?

This pertains to many many many visits, forced by the legal requirements on breaks, company requirements on security, and access to fuel as an hgv driver. I came to this page thinking I would leave comments that would shock and horrify, I could tell some horrendous stories of rownhams, and similar services, but I got here and find everyone feels the same!!! indeed.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I nearly gave my job in to avoid it as the company fuels here, when the company found the sort of B.S I had to deal with they nearly pulled the company fleet card so NOBODY had to go there. AHEM, yes, CUSTOMERS rownhams, CUSTOMERS. The very concep of courtesy and respect for those passing their cash over the counter,has clearly passed this demon pit from hell by the wayside. Sue me rownhams, if you dare. You know it is true. As for the employment issue, well, I can no longer describe succinctly exactly what is going on in that slime stained toilet carpet place than I can describe a fun time as a gay old day without attracting company i do not want....How this place gets away with it I do not understand..... Oh, yes I do. Well people its like this. They have a monopoly. They can do what they want, but if you need fuel on the motorway, you have to use them, especially so for HGV. Consequently, being the responsible business folk they are, you kno, like the gas people, electic, and all those other wonderfully comunity spiritid individuals that make ouir lives so wonderfull that a REST period spent in the rancid armpit of a dead yak, ie rownhams, really bloody feels like a BREAK !But I digress. Indeed I agreeStay Away from this place if you can, the very few decent staff there are overwhelmed by the top down rubbish attitude.
I am a member of a Regimental Association and we frequently stop at your services when we travel to and from day outings and holidays by coach. We have never been very happy with the service and cleanliness of the Services but last Sunday we were all very disappointed. We were hoping to have a meal but there was only 1 chef and 1 girl serving which meant that our 3 quarters of an hour soon went. Congratulations to the 2 staff - they did their best. The cleanliness of the toilets was also lacking.

These services used to be our last stop off when we visit the New Forest until we discovered Winchester Services on the M3.
Rownham is only useful as a toilet stop, the restaurant and coffee area (Costa) is always filthy with crockery from previous customers strewn all over the tables. If you can find a table that is clear, or you shift it yourself, it is evident that they haven't been cleaned for some time. This is not the fault of the staff, but the management as there are simply too few staff on duty.
Also the slip road and car park Westbound need resurfacing urgently. If you don't have a 4x4 avoid these services like the plague. Can't comment Eastbound as we've only ever stopped there twice and that was simply to use the loo.

I pulled into the services around 12 noon, I went into the resteraunt and had a meal, I also baught goods from the shop, I spent aroun Ã‚Â£20. I had to fix an air leak on my trailer so I was there for 3 hrs plus, a few days later I recieved a parking charge for Ã‚Â£80 from CP PLUS, SAYING THAT I WAS IN BREACH OF CONTRACT FOR PARKING ON PRIVATE LAND ??? It explained that there was a parking charge if I stayed ove 2 hrs.. First of all I did not see any notice of a parking charge, secondly I was not about to set about fixing an air leak on the M27 and thirdly the place was empty, I could understand a parking charge if the place was full, and to let other drivers rest, but the place was empty, I notice that CP PLUS waisted no time in getting this parking charge out and very much looks like a very lucrative scam... I can asure you I will not be using these services again, and I will pass this on to all HGV drivers I come accross. I drive down to Southampton docks twice aweek and have stayed many times overnight...NOT ANYMORE !!!!

Stopped at Rownmhams mid morning yesterday with baby, main reason for stopping was to feed him and let him stretch his legs. Most tables had not been cleared, whole eating area was filthy. A member of staff then dropped a glass, very half hearted efforts to clear it up, it went from being an unhealthy environment to a positively dangerous one for anyone with children!

On wednesday 25th may at 7.35 pm my partner an HGV driver after three days on the road pulled into your services and paid his Ã‚Â£19.00 overnight money he went to the services and queued to get the key for the showers to be told he had to get it from costco..........so over he went got the key and was told now he had to go to the hotel so he trappest over there to find out that there was only one shower available and that there was already TEN men waiting for this one and only shower...........my question is what do you provide for Ã‚Â£19.00 in facilites for theses drivers .......... after all without theses drivers your service stations,roadchef restaurants and hotels rely on for the own deliveries........personally I think that one of your managers should take a VERY serious look at this service station and its facilites and I will be sending a copy of this letter to the CEO of roadchef

I arrived at your wimpy food outlet at around 6 pm on the 9 th march after a long day at work to be served off a young coloured women that had no manners what so ever . I was looked At like a bit of dirt off a shoe and got the impression she was not interested in customer care. I began to order my food and I asked if there was any extra sides I could have with my meal and all I got in answer was a abrut no with no explanation to the menu . I was then presented with a diet coke drink when I clearly asked for tea , I can take mistakes like that but not when it comes to this young women as this is the ignorant attitude I got from the start ! I have never went to this extreme to complain but I found the whole experience very disturbing .

Eliza, I find it very hard that the lady in the petrol station has no contact with anyone all night as this would be a no no from a health and safety point of view as there should be a system in for lone workers.What happens if she has a fall and cant get to the phone? spk to her and tell her to insist an a system to reasure her.

@ Martin - that lady in the petrol station would be working there alone until 6am, with no contact with any other person on site. Wouldn't you prefer the safety of serving from the hatch at night, knowing it's unlikely you're going to be attacked by customers? Trust me, it does happen. Women tend to be particularly vulnerable to this. There's a perfectly good main building about 50 yards away selling hot food and drinks ect.

Unfortunately we have to stop at the Eastbound Rownhams several times a year (again today). It is consistently squalid, and we have already complained to their management. Last year I saw a lad cleaning down the Costas serving area, using a large piece of paper towel. He stopped to blow his nose on the towel and then carried on using it to clean the worktop !!! Staff were also standing on the worktops in their shoes in order to reach and clean the top areas. As already mentioned the seating areas are always dirty and the floor covered in food debris. At a loss to understand why the company do not sort out this appalling situation.

Staff working at the Petrol station were only serving through the service hatch at 22.20. She told the guy in front of me she could only sell petrol. I asked about the toilet she told me I would have to go back to the main body of the site.Theres another station a few miles down the road at Rufus Stone and their petrol is 1p a litre cheaper, I'll go there in future.

What i wish to place on here would be deemed offensive. Further to previous comments the members of staff that used to work days + the large chap that used to work nights who then started working days on the forecourts are missed by myself and the whole of our workforce.
It is wholly iresponsible for the Operations Manager AND the Site Director to abstain from employing the chirpy happy members of staff which they have lost. Its a sad sight to see that they are keeping the rude and sometimes rascist members of older male staff on the forecourts.
Bring back the old (younger) and out wth the old (older).

I usually stop off at Rownhams 2 or 3 times a month and have found that the staff are very friendly. Recently there have been a considerable lack of selection of stock items which i raised with the operations manager on the site. She said that there has recently been a change in supervisors within the forecourts whom have failed to keep up with ordering. This also seems to of dampened the atmosphere of the general staff that are working fairly hard to keep the customers happy.
I felt the manager whom i spoke with wasnt interested in my feedback that i gave verbally in a quiet corner of the forecourt. I then spoke the cashier who had tod me that they had laid staff off in order to cut the current wage bill. This included a couple of familiar faces and popular members of staff.
If this is the way Roadchef intend to continue to run then i sall not be visiting this ir any other Roadchef site again.

Today i stopped at these services at about midday. i was with my mother, who is 89 and walks slowly and is unsure in the snowy conditions we had toady. at your services was a worker keeping the paths clear and the entrance dry.
Not only was he careful to advise us where to walk inside when we arrived but when we came out he took my mother's other arm and most carefully helped her down the steps to the footpath by the car. we would both really like to express our appreciation of his helpfulness.

Visited the East bound services.
First time for many years I have used this MSA. The facilities were very limited and the place filthy, the toilets, well I'm assuming that they are actually toilets and not some Germ Warfare Laboratory! were in a disgusting state and stank.
I don't often do this run but will avoid this MSA in future.

Visited the Eastbound services on the evening of Thursday 25 November, only Costa open and cake with coffee not bad but have certainly had better. I visited the "Disabled Toilet", a term which always annoys me - if the toilet is not out of order it is not disabled - it is a "Toilet for the Disabled". Anyway it was disgusting. Even if it had ever been cleaned no-one had ever thought to clean the underside of the lid and the underside of the seat was worse. On a journey we often make it seems we have little choice but given the opportunity I would not use it again. Altogether an unpleasant experience.

My wife and I stopped here late tuesday afternoon last week. We saw three or four flies on the food in the serving trays and, along with another family, walked out ... place appeared really grubby generally as well

It's about time that the "dyslexic" signs for the exit from the car parking area were corrected. The arrows should point towards the exit, not away from it! For the last 3 years (at least) the signs have been wrong, probably causing confusion and irritation to motorists unfamiliar with Rownhams.

We stopped at the eastbound services today at 11.15 and I have to say I found the gents toilet in a DISGUSTING state. The basins had thick black grime over them and couldn't have been cleaned for days. They were so bad I went and washed my hands in my caravan in the car park.The tables at the Costa shop all had crumbs, food detritus and other rubbish all over them. They hadn't been cleared or wiped for a long time and the place wasn't too busy for staff to have cleaned it up.The furniture was tatty and needed replacement too.We travel widely on the continent and the services over there put this place to shame. God knows what foreign visitors must think.The manager here should be sacked and the job given to someone who is interested in his work

Having just stopped at the Eastbound services I was disgusted at the filthy state of the whole site! There is no way that the place has been cleaned and it is only 9am on a Sunday morning! I could not even use the ladies toilets as they are the dirtiest toilets i have ever seen! And i will most definately never stop there again! The staff were also very rude and there was only marmelade to have with toast, no strawberry or any other flavour jams! It is a shame that i will never stop there again as i stop there at least 5 times a month for meals etc. I have photographs and will be publishing them!

Having just been to use these services for both toilets + fuel, was shocked at the state of both. The toilets in the main service area was totally unacceptable + the staff member that served me in the petrol station was very rude indeed. Two things to watch out for on the Rownhams MSA are 1. The Toilets - Avoid unless neck breaking + 2. Staff member named Roman in the Esso petrol station

Toilets clean but in need of refurb. In fact the whole place looks like it hasn't had much done to it since its 1985 opening! Some serious potholes in the car park and on the access roads.

Called into Southbound services today - Highways Agency are now displaying live time travel information on screens within the Costa Coffee area - staff friendly - services are 25 years old and appear as though they are slowly being revamped

Obvious place to stop on my journey so did. Used the toilets and will never do that again, they are in a shocking state. When into very small restaurant area for breakfast and can say that staff were great and food was good. The seating are alas was also ina shocking state. The carpets were dirty, the tables too small and all in all an unpleasant experience that will not be repeated

I use these quite frequently, but only if I have to. The toilets are horrible, many facilities are out of order and they are very dirty and lacking in maintenance

I stopped here a week or so ago and it was quite late, probably approaching midnight. One of my friends in my car wanted the toilet so I pulled off and stopped. The main service area was closed, so I drove down to the petrol station and made some enquiries The woman there wasn't too helpful. She went off in a huff and gave me vague directions to some toilets on site. I followed her instructions and where she sent me led me to a load of bushes! I was not best pleased as this meant my friend had to sit in discomfort until I got to Bursledon Tesco which was the nearest facility I knew of that would have toilets. I would appreciate if staff could be taught how to treat customers nicely and talk to them with respect, not treat them like something they've just trodden on.

I stop here every May and there is nothing to eat unless it's breakfast lunch or dinner. There are hardly any quick snacks that a normal person would like and the ones that are available are Ã‚Â£5 or so!
It is at least a TV stars after seeing it with a caravan burgulary on Traffic Cops! Only seen 6 people at any one time working there.
Overall, not a great one. Buy back Winchester and sell Rownhams to Moto!

Have visited both sides a few weeks ago and both sides are looking very rundown, inside and out, I am wondering if Roadchef are stuggling as they have lost their Winchester site just up the road? On a positive note though, on both ocassions the staff were more than polite and very helpful!

Driving eastbound late at night - need to stop for a coffee and the toilet? see a sign for Costa at the service area - except its not there it is down an underpass and so are the loos - just what do I do with young children sleeping in the car? cant nip out and keep an eye on the car from the other side of the motorway can you? the petrol station was open for overpriced petrol ofcourse - but nothing else. Rescind their licence to print money!

Regarding comment about 'Sharps Bin'. Its not only drug addicts that use those bins.
I'm diabetic, with out those bins I would have to be very carefull with my needle waste.
Drug addicts on the whole don't drive but get driven, also if my child was using the loo I would prefer the sharps in a secure bin instead of on the floor.

Had to use Rownhams recently and was shocked to see a "sharps" bin in the gents loo, (which was pretty disgusting).How have we come to this point where we acknowledge that addicts will be using motorway service stations to shoot up, before going on their merry way, by car!Is it me..... or do others feel this is the end.

Couldn't find anything healthy to eat. How are we going to tackle the obesity in our country when food establishments, service stations etc do not better cater for healthy snacks and meals.

The toilets on the London bound side were filthy (Signage was lousy too!) Other side was not much better. I try to avoid road chef over Welcome break as the food choices and facilities seem better.
