WELL WERE DO I START!!!!!!!!!!
As a lorry driver wanting somewhere to park over night i had NO option but to park here and wot a BIG BIG MISTAKE THIS WAS.You have to pay in WHS then walk down to the motel to get a shower then bak up to the lorry park which is about 600yrds each way may i add.
When at the motel told you have to wait as there is only ONE SHOWER TO USE.
Having paid the full £16.00 to obtain a night's parking & a meal voucher i thought ok now for some tea at 6pm only to FIND that the Cafe had already closed round 5pm time only to get told well there is a BURGER KING OPEN or STARBUCKS FOR YOUR TEA. What planet does that worker live on starbucks is a coffee shop NOT a food court.
This is all wrong being told this and as a paying customer this is a totally out of order.
This is not good eough for a lorry driver whom has just done either a 13hr day or 15hr day.
Welcome break really need to get there act together at this site.I personnal believe they should knock the whole place down as this would be the best result & rebuild new facilities all in one place.

I think some people expect too much from a Motorway Services. Considering the location I think its pretty good. I often call in there and I find the staff in the shop particularly friendly - in fact the girl who served me yesterday was probably one of the nicest shop assistants I have ever encountered. I would visit again just to see her smile. Customer service does count ;)

What is it with services on the M4 in Wales? This places only saving grace is that it isn't quite as bad as Cardiff West.
The design is so bad it's comical. From the poorly designed road system through to the toilets being outside, the entire place feels like a failed experiment.
The place felt run down and unloved. The toilets were at least clean but were in very poor condition in general and are probably freezing in the cold weather. Amusingly hot food cafe appeared to be shut even though it was lunchtime.
The only saving grace this place has is that it isn't Cardiff West!

I have the misfortune to live near this service station and have visited it a few times. It's the worst service station I have ever visited. I still can't believe that there is no shelter between buildings, well I say buildings, a granary style cafe (how 80's), a BK and a loo block (which is dirty).
Prices are high and staff unfriendly. Personally I'd say stay away from it and go to the much better signposted mcarthur glen outlet. There's loads of food outlets and clean loos!! Sainsbury's petrol station is reasonable and has pay at pump (saving time and money)

i have had the misfortune of calling into your sarn park services today and found the visit to be upsetting to say the least. The eating areas are in need of a complete referb. It would also help if the cutlery and the china were clean enough to eat off. The toilets are a living disgrace and need more than a complete referb, knocking down and rebuilt would be a good idea!!

This place is a dump. You are welcomed by a half-buried trailer in the gardens as a "feature". Stinking toilets. Surly staff. We tried Cafe Primo and were served with a Danish pastry which was drier and dustier than the Sahara desert. The bill came to £6.05 so I gave £10.05 expecting £4.00 change. I was given 4p instead. I had the devil's own job to get the proper change after being assured that the change would be brought to me. Don't call here even if you're desparate.

hey this place is great i dont know why all these people have been grumping about its fantastic and if you say its a maze it is the smallest maze i ever seen because when you go through the double door you go to the right hand side and thats the way in easy :) some thick people on here haha

I recently stopped here on the way to Pembrokeshire in a state of severe exhaustion and mental fatigue. After negotiating the ridiculously complicated entrance, (Which is very dangerous if you're tired) I found out that the Coffee Primo was closed, (Despite the fact it was only 5 in the afternoon) so I had to get a takeaway coffee and drink it out in the cold. There was no sugar left by the machine, so I asked the only person at the checkout where I could find one and they grumpily told me to go and get one from the Burger King. Overall, very poor service. However, I do like the loos. Because they're set apart from the eating areas, they're a lot more hygenic.

If you're heading Eastbound and you need a wee, then keep on driving until you get to J32 (Coryton) and make use of the gigantic Asda which is hidden behind the trees just off the junction.
Don't bother with Cardiff west. It's only marginally better than Sarn Park.
If you're heading Westbound towards west Wales - keep on going till you reach Pont Abraham at the end of the M4.

This service station must be the worst in Britain. How do you get into it? The signage is dreadful. Visiting it is a dreadful experience I hope never to repeat. Advice: get the signs cleared up - both entry and exit signs. Help drivers, don't baffle them.

I stopped here today, and without a doubt the worst ever services I have ever set my eyes on.
Firstly, the layout of the road getting there was beyond.
I couldnt find the mens toilets, as the building layout is just ruddy stupid.
I nearlly knocked myself out on the way in, as they have plonked a CCTV camera in the middle of the doorway.
I had to try and find a cubicle that actually had toilet paper.
There was no hand soap, and the hand dryer was blowing out cold air.
Then had to join the maze again, so i could find the way out. The most bloody redicolous services possible.
Dont even bother visiting!

rubbish you have to go about 2 or 3 miles of the junction PS this isn't good if you need the toilet most wierd services i have ever seen they wheren't even in one central building they where 4 or 5 seperate hexagon shape buildings rubbish

The most disgusting Service Station I had ever been to. The Toilets were more than dirty & there is about 2 staff that worked in this little cafe. If I were you I woulden't stop there even if you were totally desperate.
