We recently visited both the North and southbound Warwick services (please see southbound for our review). This is about our experience of the northbound services ONLY. Initially we were apprehensive based on the other reviews on this website. However, we were pleasantly surprised and would urge others not to be put off by the previous reviews. We can only assume it has been updated and had some serious funding (can anyone clarify when this was refurbished?). The approach of the motorway was seamless and unlike other services it was very clear were to go for parking. The toilets were busy and the cleaning was only standard, which was surprising as overall the facilities of the catering were extraordinarily spotless. Hats off to that team. Maybe the cleaning staff could rotate so the toilets can benefit from their methodical and thorough approach. We felt spoilt for choice with the food and drink on offer, and the outside veranda was particularly delightful. What a treat to have this haven so close to the motorway. Waitrose is as you expect but wish they had more choice of loose fruit, most of it was pre-packaged - which come on guys, we all know in this day and age we should be vying to be greener. In a last minute decision, we decided to treat ourselves to a Starbucks. We would strongly caution against this unless you have ample time, perhaps you could consider enjoying a coffee on the southbound leg of your journey (more on this on our other review). Overall, we felt the open plan modern design was welcoming and lent itself well to a relaxing 2 hour break. If only there was longer parking we could stay all day. We'd certainly love to try more of the food options and might just have to plan a little break to ensure we have the chance.

After stopping for a comfort break this morning, as I wasgetting into my car, a lady in a white Toyota pick-up truck stopped me and shetold me that she was to visit her father and she forgot her wallet. She saidshe was not begging, but needs some money for fuel. She offered me her email andphone number but I said as long as she was genuine, I was happy to help her. Igave her a Â£25 as she sounded a genuine person by her cries and her two smallsons in the car. When I got in to work I was told by my colleagues about thesimilar incidents. I don't want to make a wrong judgment here but if that was ascam then it is the last time that I help someone.

I stopped here for lunch on 29th December. The cod and and chips was an abomination. Stale, reheated and expensive. I have eaten better food at 15000feet in the Himalaya.

Stopped at Warwick northbound ordered fish and chips and my wife had scampi & chips. dredfull - cold, food not fresh at all. we were in so much of a hurry to get to Birmingham in time for a show we did not have time to complain. In future we will use KFC at least the food is fresh and hot. Why should we have to put up with this type of food in this day and age?

My husband and I stopped at Warwick services last night. we ordered pizza from papa John's. the place was packed with football supporters; there were just 2 people doing the food, making fresh pizzas, drinks, taking the money. The girl (Rachel, according to our receipt) was cheerful, friendly, unhassled, multi-tasking like mad. She and the guy who was working like a trojan in the background deserve a lot of praise and I hope they get well paid!they are earning you a lot of satisfied customers

Went to Warwick Services on M40 northbound on Tuesday 3rd April 2012. The young lady assistant at KFC was so helpful, friendly and kind. The best service ever on any motorway services I have ever been to. I usually go on M6 and M1. The service from this young lady at KFC was exemplary.
The noise of the chairs on the flooring was very loud though. Perhaps at some time in the future something could be changed - I don't know if it was the flooring or the chairs but it was very very noisy every time someone sat down or stood up. But a small price to pay for such friendly service.

Used your services Warwick northbound 6am ish 6/4/12 stopped with my husband and baby to use the toilet & have something to eat. We ate at Eat in. Ordered a traditional breakfast & a bacon & sausage roll. Food was terrible & cold. The roll was hard & stale, took it back. The bacon was hard & dry, the sausage were cold. The eggs were watery, it was disgusting. Especially as the prices are so high you would think the food would be good or at least warm... Would not eat at another Eat In, ever again. Shame KFC or Burger King wasn't open , at least their food is hot!!

I spent 3 hours at this service area for a business meeting. The WIFI worked well via BT OpenZone but allows connectiosn to several services. The service in the restaurant was good and the tables were constantly cleaned. The gents toilets were very clean and on both visits someone was in there cleaning - very good.Overall I would recommend this service area.

I was very impressed with these services. I don't regularly stop at motorway services however after this experience I shall definately do it again.
The toilets were outstanding and the KFC me and my family enjoyed was piping hot, delivered very quickly by friendly and helpful staff.
I would definately reccommend this site and plan on stopping again next time

We need a few hours rest on our way north. We are in a campervan 5.2m long which fits into a car park space. Happy to pay Ã‚Â£8, but are they going to sting us for Ã‚Â£20 as a caravan, coach or HGV - none of which we consider ourselves to be.

We went to the Eat In cafe and was waiting for service and the 2 men just stood there not helping me coz there was no bread rolls for the soup, the lid wasnt on properly, the hot food looked old with skin on, and when I asked for some rolls they came out with sliced bread!! The service and attitude was atrocious so we went to the Primo cafe instead!
